HSE Asbestos Medicals

HSE Asbestos Medicals in the west midlands

We have approval from the HSE to perform Asbestos Medicals. Dr R.Naeem is an appointed HSE Doctor and can perform Licensed and Non – licensed Asbestos Medicals.

Neptune Health is currently performing face to face Asbestos Medicals with spirometry assessments at our practice in Birmingham, West Midlands.

In line with HSE guidance if there are no problems we can give a 2 year certificate for Licensed work and a 3 year certificate for Non-Licensed Asbestos Work.

Any direct work involving Asbestos including building, demolition, removal and sampling must be carried out by a HSE Licensed contractor. All contractors either employed or self-employed must have a medical assessment with a HSE Appointed Physician.

Non-licensed (notifiable non-licensed work) includes removal, maintenance, and painting of asbestos insulation board / cement that is in good condition. Firefighters fall under the category of non-licensed work.
